John Kinski is a novelist and historian with a BA and MPhil in History from the London School of Economics. He is the author of Theatrecy (Troubador, 2026), Tottenham Boys, and the forthcoming Regency suspense novel Halfpenny.

John Kinski is a novelist with a rigorous academic background in history. He holds a BA and MPhil in History from the London School of Economics (1969–1977). His fiction moves between riot-torn modern London and the closed playhouses of seventeenth-century England — united by character, dark humour, and living history. He is the author of Tottenham Boys and Theatrecy (Troubador, June 2026), and is completing Halfpenny, a Regency suspense novel.
